Elke and Richard Wagner, the team behind WEH Austria, look back on their time together.
It all began with Helmut Haidinger, who started in the early 1990s as a sales representative in Asten, always equipped with WEH® quick connectors from day one. In 2004, at the age of 55, he took a bold step and founded WEH Austria. He also sought out distribution partners for the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Slovakia, aiming to sell WEH® products in these countries through WEH Austria. From the very beginning, he was convinced of the product’s quality – and it quickly became clear that he had made the right decision!
His daughter Elke joined to support the growing office workload, and Richard – Elke’s husband – took on the role of the technical director - a fantastic team! Thanks to their dedication, Helmut was able to retire in 2010 and enjoy his well-earned rest.
At WEH, excellent cooperation has always been essential to us. Only by working closely with our partners we can remain active in the market and provide outstanding service to our customers.
